About the Interweb Gazette

The Interweb Gazette was founded on the premise that some news sources, I won’t mention any names (cough, New York Times, cough, Wall Street Journal) are a little dry at times. We strive to bring both interesting and often accurate news directly to your computer screen. Please note that we do not have a printed addition, which makes our news eco-friendly, and therefore more reputable.

We consider submissions for guest articles. If you have something on your mind (that’s worth sharing) feel free to submit an article. You will be given full credit and a very thoughtful thank you card.

For submissions, please contact gratianne@interwebgazette.com

For job inquiries, please contact spam@interwebgazette.com

Thanks and Enjoy!

Letter from the Editor:

Now that Obama is in office, I would really like to see change…in my career path.
I am seeking a high-powered celebrities offering some kind of job with flexible hours, 60K +, full benefits, and  there must be no talent or skill requirements.

I am 23 year-old female that has been crunching numbers for the last 1+ years. I started out with a very promising future as a painter and photographer and won awards when I was high school. I went on to college where I briefly became a radical socialist. Disillusioned after a three week trip to communist Cuba, I returned to college seeking answers within the lectures of my political science major. I began a self righteous quest to help African babies by writing policy papers demonizing the IMF and George Bush. These lead to a series of internships where I learned that you can only help people if you have a master’s degree and a deep love of bureaucracy.

Soon I found myself graduated, my only skill was being critical of everyone in power. With mounting student debts, I took a job crunching numbers in a sky scraper in New York. Here I have sprouted multiple grey hairs and written several chapters of a science fiction novel where I have written myself into immortality as an empress robot destined to save mankind.

My best qualities include my optimism (despite the downward spiral that the world seems to be in), my motivation, and unwavering willingness to put myself in difficult and embarrassing situations.

In the spirit of change please hire me. I am half Hispanic and part Native American according to the National Geographic Gene Project, I’m sure you have quotas to fill.

Call me,

Macarena
